“Andrew was awesome on WCL! The audience was blown away by him. I remember they spontaneously applauded after a toss to commercial and the stage director asked them not to. The consensus by the show producers is that Andrew is going to be huge!” -Roe Conn -Wgn
"LET'S GET LOUD" ..AND "DANCE ON" 2016
At first glance from his album cover: What no cowboy hat? I thought maybe this guy is pop rock?; one of many, attempting to break into the mainstream pop sensations of today. However, with the release of his debut album "Absolutely Everything" Andrew Salgado hit it right off, the first spin of his album. The track "Let's get Loud" has the sounds of a "hit record". Andrew is one of the artists I classify as a singer/songwriter that writes his own material and is quite exceptional considering his age. One of the songs on his album called "Every Dog Has His Night", which has the feel for a solid good country hit, is ready to be played on the radio. As I listened I noticed he has a very unique but distinctive sound. His music sets goals and reaches them with the rhythm section of his band. The mandolin is a great added flavor to his style and adds full flavor to his sound. Steel guitars are even heard throughout the album which just adds even more and keep that real country flavor to the album. I loved what I heard and hope he keeps his drive going and pushes and not "last time for everything" for this guy and takes his music by storm to the next level.

The Chariton Iowa 4th of July committee would like to thank you for turning us on to Andrew Salgado. We can’t express enough what a great performer and performance Andrew put on for our annual 4th of July Celebration. He did it all, from getting the crowd into it, to having a few come on stage with him for a dance competition to taking the mic and heading out into the crowd for a sing along, there was never a dull moment. Some of my personal favorite songs were some of his originals off his latest record, Absolutely Everything. Good Luck Andrew on your quest to the CMA’s. Look forward to seeing you again.
